Day 02 : Mussoorie Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit to Kempty fall, kempty fall, municipal garden, Gun hill, Company Garden, Mall road etc. Lal Tibba : This is regarded as the highest point in Mussoorie situated in an area called “Landour”.
Which is know to be the oldest inhabited place of Mussoorie Gun Hill : Gun hill is the second highest point in Mussoorie.it is also known as picnic spot for the locals.From this points, Mussoorie appears
to be changing colors in every minute.It looks amazing from here. Municipal Garden : This is also known as Botanical Gardens of Mussoorie were established by geologist Dr. H.Fackner in the last century.
Kempty Fall : Kempty falls is just 12 kms down from Mussoorie on Mussoorie – Dehradun midway ,the beautiful falls were declared as a tourist destination by John Mekinan after 1835.
The name Kempty is derived from ‘Camp – tea’, as the Britishers would organise their tea parties here. Past Kempty Fall, 12 – km downhill. Later back to the hotel, free for leisure.

After breakfast we checked out from Hotel and proceeded to Corbett by Road. Corbett National Park: A promising land for the world species at Ramnagar in Nainital district in Uttarakhand. The Corbett national
park is the most dwindling part of nature resizing at the Himalayan foot hill & Shivalik ranges and is being called as the perfect tiger’s land. India’s first notified wildlife sanctuary and national park established
in the year 1936,brought the opportunity to hold the largest tiger population in the vicinity. Corbett remains open from mid-November to mid Jun, the main reason for closure of the park during the rest
of the year is that mansoon makes most of the roads get washed away. After mansoon, the repair work starts and it is only by nov.That roads are back in motive condition.

Day 04 : Corbett Local Tour
After breakfast enjoy a game drive in the park by jeep(Optional by paying Additional cost) to view some of the most exotic wildlife and the flora & fauna. Later afternoon proceed for yet another game
viewing drive & try your luck to spot the tiger. Later back to the hotel, Rest of the day free at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel at Corbett.

during his stay at Kausani, penned his memorable commentary on the ‘Gita-Anashakti Yoga’ inspired by the scenic grandeur of this richly gifted spot. Mahatma Gandhi was so impressed that
He started calling it “Switzerland of India”. The guesthouse where Mahatma Gandhi stayed is now known as the Anashakti Ashram. Famous Hindi poet Sumitra Nandan Pant was born at Kausani.

Today after breakfast we proceed for Baijnath Temple. Baijnath Temple is a venerable shrine of Uttrakhand. It is stationed 16 km from Kausani on the banks of Gomti in Gruda Valley. It is said to have been
built by Kumaoni Katyuri King in 1150 A.D. It is used to be the capital of the Katyuri dynasty of kings who ruled over Uttarakhand during the 12th and 13th centuries. Earlier Bijnath was known
as ‘Kartiykapura’. The temple is devoted to lord Shiva and holds a significant importance because as the mythology says that lord Shiva and Parvati were married on the confluence of River
Gomti and Garur Ganga. Lord Shiva is one of the gods in trinity (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) hence, this place becomes significantly more important among devotees.
Evening return back to the hotel and a full day free for leisure. Overnight at Kausani

The three sages, Atri, Pulastya, and Pulaha stopped over at Nainital on their pilgrimage, to quench their thirst. Finding no water, they dug a hole and transferred some water into it to form the sacred
lake of Tibet, Mansarovar. Thus the famous lake of Nainital came into existence. Another legend has it that the left eye or Nain of Lord Shiva’s wife Sati fell in this center and formed an
emerald eye-shaped lake, and thus emerged the city of Nainital.Recent history records reveal that Nainital was brought into limelight by P. Barron, a British sugar merchant, in 1839.
The beauty of Nainital with the central lake cushioned among the forests attracted this person to build a house named Pilgrim’s Cottage and settle in Nainital.
